Meet Dr. Eric Arriaga, Our New Owner & Lead Audiologist
Hi, I’m Dr. Eric Arriaga, and I’m delighted to welcome you to our practice. I grew up right here in New Orleans, part of a huge, lively family—my mom is one of eleven kids, so I have more cousins than I can count. My wife, Mallory, is an assistant principal and has a PhD in special education, and our daughter, Brooklyn, is studying to become a nurse anesthetist. We’ve got a house full of dachshunds, and we’re planning to add a white German Shepherd as our clinic mascot to welcome patients.
I actually found my way to audiology after a personal experience with a vestibular crisis, and the compassion I received from an audiologist back then changed my career path. I earned my doctorate at LSU Health Sciences Center, did my clinical fellowship at the Biloxi VA, and eventually came home to private practice. Now I’m here to make sure every patient feels heard and cared for—just like I was. Can’t wait to meet you!
